OVERVIEW

Alina has been playing violin since age 3, viola since age 12, and piano since age 10. She is accomplished in solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire. Alina began composing in 2018, and has been studying composition formally since 2022. Alina is also experienced in Ableton and Logic Pro.

EDUCATION
Harvard University; Cambridge, MA — 2012-2016

Assistant principal viola for Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra. Chamber music studies with Chiara Quartet, Robert Levin, and Parker Quartet.

The Juilliard School, Pre-College Division; New York, NY — 2007-2012

Coursework includes Ear Training, Music Theory, Conducting. Performance highlights include solo recitals at Paul and Morse Hall, Principal viola for Pre-College Orchestra, and chamber music concert at Alice Tully Hall.

Teachers include Heidi Castleman and Molly Carr (viola), Naoko Tanaka (violin), and Adelaide Roberts (piano).
